Located on the eastern outskirts of Milan, Lake Garda (Lago Garda) is the largest lake in the whole of Italy and was originally created by glaciation.
At the northern end of Lake Garda, nearby Milan, you will find steep cliffs and rugged outcrops, contrasting with smaller hills at the southern end.
